First and foremost, I must ask, do you believe in magic?
Synchronicity– the simultaneous occurrence of events that appear significantly related but have no discernible causal connection
Have you heard the term synchronicity before? Above is the dictionary definition of the word synchronicity. My own interpretation is a little bit different. The words “casual connection” do not come close to describing the magic that is a synchronicity.
When a synchronicity occurs, the connection is undeniable. You might be thinking about going to the mountains, and next thing you know you see a poster with mountains on it. Maybe even an add for a resort in the mountains.
You could be thinking about your mom and how you need to call her, and then your phone starts vibrating, you look down, and it is your mom.
My definition of synchronicity is; seemingly magic events that are too connected to make logical sense.
I want to talk about my biggest experience with synchronicity.
My boyfriend and I moved into our first apartment in May. We decided to move out of my parents house just to have our own space. It has been amazing. Before we moved out, I had began to fall in love with the idea of living in Hawaii. I have been craving the beach, and Hawaii has always been a dream of mine. But the weeks leading up to our move I began reeaally focusing on Hawaii. I found a shark tooth necklace in my jewelry box that I was wearing everywhere, and I was just cultivating my beach-babe vibes.
The day we moved into our new apartment- my parents neighbor was having an estate sale at her moms house. She let us go early and see if there was anything we needed for our new place. I did not want to go, I was tired from packing, moving and stress. I was just going to send my boyfriend, but something told me I needed to go. Rummaging through her moms house we found some basic things we needed; silverware, a trash can, cleaning supplies, etc.
We began looking through drawers, just seeing if we could find anything interesting.
I was looking through one of her mom’s desks when I found treasure.
2 hand-made sea shell necklaces and a never used key chain that says Hawaii.
My heart fluttered. I could barely believe that what I was holding was real. When my neighbor said I could keep the jewels I wanted to cry.
This moment did not seem real. How could this happen?! I had been dreaming of Hawaii and next thing you know I found this.
I truly believe everything happens for a reason. There is no such thing as a coincidence. The universe is constantly giving us signs & letting us know where we need to be… and also letting us know that we are heard.
When we open ourselves up to receiving, we will receive.
Have you ever experienced anything like this?
I would love to hear your stories..
Lots of love,
Autumn
