I always get requests to make “what I eat in a day” videos on my YouTube channel, but I thought it would be nice to give a basic grocery list that I tend to stick to. I am young, on somewhat of a budget, and eat generally healthy. My grocery list changes a little bit through out the seasons, but this has been what I’m gravitating towards recently.
I really want to put emphasis on how important it is to listen to your body and honor your cravings. Our bodies eb & flow, require more or less food at different times, and are constantly changing. The way I eat is so specific to how I’m feeling, my stress levels, the temperature outside, etc.
If there is one thing you take away from any of my content, I hope that it is to rely on yourself & your natural rhythms.
For myself, I crave a lot of fats & function when best when I have a higher fat diet. I do not need as much protein, but I crave healthy fats like avocado, hummus, and peanut butter all the time. When you start realizing what foods make you feel your best- make sure you build your meals with those in minds.
